The transfer window may currently be closed, but a Liverpool player appears to be on the way.
The Reds may have held back when it came to bringing in new signings this summer, but the club’s new sporting director Richard Hughes has carried out numerous deals in the opposite direction.

Most of these were loan deals with a host of Liverpool’s talented young players moving to temporary destinations across Europe.
Some of these loan stars have already achieved huge success, including Lewis Koumas and Ben Doak.
However, it wasn’t a walk in the park for everyone.

The surprising reason why Jakub Ojrzynski’s transfer was apparently canceled
At the very end of the window, Ojrzynski was loaned out to Cypriot side Spartakos Kitiou.
The move was greeted with great enthusiasm and was described as a “massive” transfer by his agency, EL Sports Agency.
“We are so excited to announce the best summer transfer yet!” the agency posted on Instagram.
“We proudly present the 1.96 meter giant and ultra-talented goalkeeper Jakub Ojrzynski’s one-year loan transfer from Liverpool to Spartakos Kitiou.
“The exceptional Polish goalkeeper, a national player for his country, comes to Cyprus with the best prospects. This is a massive transfer for the league and underlines the ambitious goals of Spartakos Kitiou.”
“We are also pleased to officially announce our collaboration with Liverpool FC.”
But the excitement seemed to quickly turn into bitter disappointment.

According to Lewis Bower, a journalist who covers Liverpool’s academy, Ojrzynski did not receive international clearance for his transfer due to errors in both clubs’ paperwork.
This meant that he was effectively excluded from the game and was yet to feature for the team.
Bower’s report suggested that the move was in danger of being canceled and it looks like this has now been confirmed by Ojrzynski himself, who posted his return to Merseyside on his Instagram account while with some of his team-mates from Liverpool sat in a Costa cafe.
It’s clearly been a frustrating time for the 21-year-old, but it’s great to see him back in Liverpool.
Hopefully his situation will clear up sooner or later and Ojrzynski can play football again.
The Polish goalkeeper is highly regarded and has already spent time on loan in the Netherlands, Wales and his home country of Poland. Therefore, it shouldn’t be difficult to find a new club for him in the January transfer window.
